Camp Woodbrooke, Richland Center, WI

Camp Woodbrooke is seeking camp counselors who enjoy children and have skills and knowledge in one or two of the following areas: life guarding/WSI, nature and environmental education, campcraft, archery, woodworking, music and singing, sports and games, cooking, pottery. Woodbrooke is a small, noncompetitive summer camp with emphasis on developing a caring community and gaining knowledge and appreciation of the environment. Opequon Quaker Camp, Winchester, VA:

Kitchen Manager and Head Cook. The Kitchen Manager plans menus, orders food and some supplies, shops, helps cook some meals, and supervises a weekly staff of adult and young adult volunteer cooks. The Head Cook works closely with the Kitchen Manager, shares responsibilities as appropriate and oversees the meal preparation and weekly crew of cooks. The modest kitchen serves three meals a day to approximately 100.

This is a unique opportunity to be part of a hard-working, caring, intentional community. It‚s a hot, tiring, and totally rewarding work environment. The camp is rustic. Housing is provided; the Kitchen Manager and head cook live in a cabin at camp, possibly sharing with other staff. We serve a diverse, healthy menu, including vegetarian and vegan options.

The dates of camp are from June 26 - August 8. Pay for the kitchen manager is roughly $2,700 for the summer. The Head Cook makes approximately $2,000 In addition to these six weeks, there is an additional week of staff training that precedes camp (beginning on June 18th) which could be included for extra pay.

FYDE is a unique project for a group of 8-10 teens around the ages of 14-16 years. The aim of the program is to develop a variety of skills through a co-operative camping experience, the ideals of which are based on Quaker values. Camp Celo, Burnsville, North Carolina

Camp Celo is in need of counselors, helpers, and a garden intern. This is a chance to work in a beautiful mountain setting in a small community of like-minded people. You will be working with campers 7-10 or 11&12. Counselors need to be college-age or older. All counselors are responsible for a variety of activities, from crafts, skits and shop, to hiking and camping and tubing the river. Friends Camp, South China, ME

Friends Camp is seeking counselors with certification as Life Guard, EMT or Wilderness Responder. If there is a nurse or Physician's Assistant that is interested we would be especially happy to have you apply. We also need counselors with experience in sailing, pottery, drama, video editing, and photography.

Support Staff
Office help needed with computer and bookkeeping experience. Candidate must have good telephone manners and excel in detail work.

Our site manager would like to have a competent sidekick that will assist him in simple repairs, painting, maintenance, and lawn care. Candidate must be a self-starter.
